Hazel Run at River's Edge

Hazel Run is an acoustic group in Fredericksburg, Virginia that draws from Americana, folk, and bluegrass. Their repertoire ranges from original songs to the mountain music of Appalachia. They also cover contemporary folk artists such as Gillian Welch, Patty Griffin, The Carter Family, and Peter Rowan. Hazel Run is composed of Stuart Whitford (resonator guitar, mandolin, guitar, and mandola); Karen Richardson (guitar and banjo); Linda LaFave (guitar, mandolin.) Intricate vocal harmonies, finger-picked strings, and infectious rhythm create an intimate and accessible sound that has earned Hazel Run a loyal local following since they began performing in 2017.
